The Mole Poem

If there's one thing to say about
His number, it would be
It's taller than the highest mount
It's wider than the greatest sea

In terms of people I believe
One million is a sensible pop.
But there's trillions of these molecules
In one minute ink drop

Amadeo gave us a way to imagine
He gave us a way to count and teach
These bodies we call molecules
Which for so long seemed far out of reach.
